About the Barambah Farm

The Barambah Organics dairy farm is located 55kms from Inglewood, and 70kms from Goondiwindi on the NSW/QLD border. The property has 2km of river frontage with a water harvesting licence from the river as well as a larger irrigation bore. The property is irrigated by three centre pivots.

At Barambah Organics all the calves that are born on our property stay within our care. Our calves are not considered by us to be waste products.

At the age of 6 months we take the females to another one of our properties which is 20kms from the dairy farm. There they have 1,300 acres to roam, and we take the males to our 1,000 acre property at Murgon. No Barambah calves are sent to the abbatoir.

Ian Campbell has been in the dairy industry for many years now and he has seen the true respect and regard that so many dairy farmers give to their animals. Agriculture is one of the toughest industries to be in and the recent floods were just devasting to so many of us in QLD after so many years of drought.

The average dairy farmer works a 16 hour day and we can tell you that it is not for the money that they do it. Strangely it is for the lifestyle, as dairy farmers truly love their animals and all family members can work togther. Our girls, who are aged 6 and 7 love nothing more than to be helping milk the cows with their dad on a weekend and feeding calves.

If you would like to join a campaign that will help thousands of Aussie Battlers, who are truly hurting out there, why not contact the large multi-nationals to pay their farmers more at the farm gate so that they are able to have a better life.

NO GASLAND for QLD!

Let the QLD/NSW State Governments know that we do not want them to allow mining companies to turn our countryside into a mining wasteland/gasland.
