Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C
- Cut the fruit up into rough chunks
- Line an oven tray with baking paper and put your fruit on it
- Roast the fruit in the oven for 20 minutes
- Blend the fruit in a blender until smooth (roasting the fruit will caramelise the natural sugars and make the fruit sweeter, but if you think it needs it, you could add some honey, maple syrup or rice malt syrup to taste)
The syrup will keep in the fridge for at least a week.
To make the milkshake, blend half the fruit syrup with 2 cups of Barambah’s Milk and enjoy!
